SEC EDGAR
How to get your SEC EDGAR API key and connect it to Nova Admin.
No API key is required. SEC's fair-access policy REQUIRES every request to send a User-Agent identifying you with a contact email. Enter a contact email below; it is sent in the User-Agent header. Rate limit: 10 requests/second.
Prerequisites
- A SEC EDGAR account. Sign up at https://www.sec.gov/search-filings/edgar-application-programming-interfaces.
- An active Nova Admin workspace. Go to /agents/integrations to connect.
Steps
- Go to SEC EDGAR API docs (no key needed).
- Create or copy your credentials.
- Note any additional required values: Contact Email (e.g.
you@example.com). - In Nova Admin, go to /agents/integrations, find SEC EDGAR, and paste the values into the credential dialog.

Troubleshooting
- Invalid credentials: verify the key was copied in full with no trailing spaces.
- Key not working: check that your SEC EDGAR account has API access enabled and billing is active if required.
