Cohere
How to get your Cohere API key and connect it to Nova Admin.
Enter your Cohere API key to access Command R, Command R+, and Command A models.
Prerequisites
- A Cohere account. Sign up at https://dashboard.cohere.com/api-keys.
- An active Nova Admin workspace. Go to /agents/integrations to connect.
Steps
- Go to <a href="https://dashboard.cohere.com" target="_blank">dashboard.cohere.com</a> and sign up or log in.
- A trial API key is created automatically at signup — find it in <strong>API Keys</strong> in the sidebar.
- To create a new key, click <strong>Create API Key</strong> and copy the value.
- In Nova Admin, go to <strong>/agents/integrations</strong>, find <strong>Cohere</strong>, and paste the key into the API Key field.

Troubleshooting
- Invalid credentials: verify the key was copied in full with no trailing spaces.
- Key not working: check that your Cohere account has API access enabled and billing is active if required.
