Expensify
How to get your Expensify API key and connect it to Nova Admin.
Connect your Expensify account to manage expenses, reports, and policies. To get your credentials:
- Log in to Expensify at expensify.com
- Go to Settings > Workspaces > [workspace] > Connections, or visit expensify.com/tools/integrations/
- Your Partner User ID and Partner User Secret will be displayed
- Copy both values and paste them below
Note: Store these credentials securely — they cannot be retrieved again after the initial display.
Prerequisites
- A Expensify account. Sign up at https://www.expensify.com/tools/integrations/.
- An active Nova Admin workspace. Go to /agents/integrations to connect.
Steps
- Go to Get credentials — Expensify Integrations page.
- Create a new API key / Partner User ID (starts with
aa_your_partner_user_id) and copy it immediately — most providers show it only once. - In Nova Admin, go to /agents/integrations, find Expensify, and paste the values into the credential dialog.
Credential fields

Troubleshooting
- Invalid credentials: verify the key was copied in full with no trailing spaces.
- Key not working: check that your Expensify account has API access enabled and billing is active if required.
